<p align="justify">Ian McNairn is the Program Director Innovation &#038; Social Collaboration in the World Wide Business Integration organization within the Office of the IBM CIO, based in Scotland in a world wide role.  He acts as a catalyst between innovators and implementers, facilitating the flow of ideas, best practices, standards and leadership and is an evangelist in the social software, collaboration and knowledge management arenas, regularly chairing and presenting at conferences around the world.  Previously he managed a global development team in IBM as well as having worked in both the sales and marketing organizations.  Before joining IBM he was the Global IT Strategy Director for the global insurance broker Sedgwick (Marsh &#038; McLennan), and prior to that was a lecturer and researcher at the University of Witwatersrand.  Ian has lectured on KM, Web2.0, Innovation, and Social Computing at the Universities of Cambridge, Birmingham, Sheffield, Surrey, Glasgow, Warwick, Westminster, the Chalmers University, Sweden and the IMD Business School, Lausanne.</p>

<p align="justify">Before joining Philip Morris International R&#038;D four years ago, Manuel Peitsch has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over fifteen years, following seven years in academia. His work has mainly been in the areas of Computational Life Sciences (incl. bioinformatics) and Experimental Biology (incl. genomics and proteomics) in Drug Discovery.  Manuel holds several patents related to proteomics, genomics and computer science and has published over 120 articles in top ranking scientific journals (cited over 12000 times). Manuel is a ComputerWorld Honors Laureate and a recipient of several awards including the New England Business and Technology Award and the UnitedDevices Grid Visionary Award.  Manuel holds a BSc in Life Sciences, a MSc in Physical Chemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry. He is also a Professor for Bioinformatics at the University of Basel.</p>

Robert oversees BP’s interests in the UK Energy Technology Institute.  He is on the Board of Breathing Buildings, a natural ventilation company, as a non-executive Director.  He recently was appointed to the board of the UK Technology Strategy Board.</p>

Moved to start his own company to deliver consultancy to the MNO’s on the opportunities posed with the new breed of smartphones. Latterly became part of the new management team in a Pan-European independent telecom, before moving to BT where he worked on the smartphone based “Office Anywhere”, Global Services to deliver a step change in mobile products and Mobile and Consumer Strategy for BT Retail.

Here, over the last 17 years, he held roles with increasing responsibility in Germany and the US from project leader to Head of Medicinal Chemistry.  He is the inventor of a marketed product and brought several additional compounds into development.<br />
In 2010 he was appointed the Head of Global Innovation Sourcing, the partnering and collaborations function of Global Drug Discovery, Bayer HealthCare´s research and early development organization.</p>

<p align="justify">By rail: The nearest train station to the Grand Connaught Rooms is at Charing Cross. From here head northbound on the Northern line to Tottenham Court Road and then go eastbound on the Central line to reach Holborn underground station. London Euston and St Pancras International stations are under a thirty minute walk from the hotel or a short taxi ride </p>
<p>By underground: Holburn is the closest underground stop to the Grand Connaught Rooms, while Covent Garden is also nearby. Both stations are found on the Piccadilly line. From Holburn turn left out of the station to walk along Kingsway, then take the second right onto Great Queen Street. The Piccadilly line connects Kings Cross station with London Heathrow Airport, by central London. The Central line connects Essex to West London via the City and central London.</p>
<p>By air: London Heathrow is nearest airport, only 18 miles away. Full Package additionally includes two nights accommodation at the event venue and taxi transfer from the airport to the venue and vice versa.<br />

<h5>Are travel expenses or other personal costs included in the fee?</h5>
<p>• <strong>NO</strong>. Packages <strong>do NOT</strong> include travel expenses, travel insurance or any other personal expenses incurred by attendees.<br />

<h5>Is there a discount for group attendance?</h5>
<p>• Yes, there are attractive discounts depending on the number of people attending. Please refer to the &#8220;Pricing/Registration&#8221; section of the website for more information or contact us directly.<br />

<h5>What are the payment methods accepted?</h5>
<p>• You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Bank Transfer. Please note that there is 2% surcharge for Visa/MasterCard and 3.5% surcharge for American Express.<br />

<h5>What is the refund policy in case I decide to cancel my participation?</h5>
<p>• Cancellations must be received prior to the event in writing either by email, post or fax. In case of cancellation, delegates are entitled to:<br />
A credit voucher which could be used for a future event within 1 year.<br />
OR<br />
80% refund of the total fee paid if cancelled before 10th of June, 2012;<br />
50% refund of the total fee paid if cancelled between 11th of June, 2012 and 31st of July, 2012;<br />
20% refund of the total fee paid if cancelled between 1st of August, 2012 and 14th of October, 2012;<br />
NO refund if cancelled after 14th of October, 2012.<br />

<h5>Can I send a colleague to replace me if I am registered but hindered to join?</h5>
<p>• Delegate substitutions from the same company are possible at no extra charge at any time before the event date.<br />
